MPD Honors Heroic Actions from 2019-2021

On June 22nd, 2022, the Mahwah Police Department honored and recognized several Officers and Dispatchers for their heroic actions from 2019-2021.

The Mahwah Police Department’s Awards Committee approved and awarded the following:

  • 7 Life Saving Medals

  • 8 Meritorious Service Awards

  • 10 Exceptional Duty Awards

  • 13 Honorable Service Awards

  • 3 Communications Awards (Dispatchers)

  • Numerous Unit Citations

The following were in attendance at the Awards Ceremony: Police Administration, Mayor Wysocki and Council members, family and friends.
